Clam Dip:
Cooking time: 10min.
Serves: 12
This is a Nace Family classic. Almost every family occasion, from Thanksgiving, Easter, Birthday parties, Graduations, Sunday afternoon get togethers, to watching the Super Bowl this dip has always been a super way to start the meal. It’s really easy to make and you just can’t stop eating it. It goes great with any kind of potato chips or Saltine Crackers! Whip it up and enjoy!
Ingredients:
· 2 cans of canned clams.
· 1 8oz. package of cream cheese (room temperature)
· 1 cup of Mayonnaise
· 1 teaspoon of salt
· 1 teaspoon of garlic salt
· 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
· 3 drops of Tabasco sauce.
· Juice from half of a lemon.
· 1 hand full of finely chopped parsley.
To Make the Dip:
First beat your cream cheese and mayonnaise in a large mixing bowl~ Mix in the Salt, garlic salt, and finely chopped parsley~ Add your clams to the mix and slowly add the clam juice to get the desired consistency (the more clam juice the creamer the dip will be)~ Add the teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, the three drops of Tabasco sauce and squeeze in the juice from half of a fresh lemon~ Continue beat the mix together for several more min~ Cover and refrigerate for around 20 min before serving.
The dip goes great with corn chips, Ritz cheese crackers, Saltine crackers or on toasted French bread. If you’re headed to someone’s home for a dinner party it’s really easy to bring along in a Tupperware container. They’ll appreciate it, trust me! Enjoy!
